Show Notes: "The opening band was The Riverdales. They were pretty good, but I couldn't wait until Green Day came out! They left the stage and about 20 minutes later, the lights went out leaving only a faint green light shining down on Tre's drumset. I was so excited! Suddenly, out of nowhere, here come the boys themselves, Billie Joe, Mike, Tre! I freaked! Billie Joe picked up his guitar, Mike picked up his bass, Tre picked up his sticks. Then, the incredible drumroll from Armatage Shanks filled the arena. Billie and Mike started to play the riff and jammed away. After that song, they started talking to us. He told us that they were all stoned right now and everybody freaked! Then Mike said, 'No, they're the ones that are stoned!' They all screamed again. After about 3 or 4 songs Billie said, 'We're gonna play some old shit! 1, 2, 3, go!' It was 2,000 Light Years Away. This must've been the coolest thing of the whole night. Before the last chorus, when it's just the drums and bass playing, somebody had thrown toilet paper on stage. Billie Joe picked it up and said, 'I've been meaning to do this all day. Suddenly, he drops his pants and wipes his ass in front of everybody. Then, he just pulled his pants back up, leaving the paper hanging out and went right back to the song. In between songs, Mike was beating himself in the head with someone's shoe that they had thrown up there and Billie Joe said, 'I'm a pot addict, Mike's a crackbaby, and Tre just killed 5 people today.' Then, he brought some guy on stage named Danny. Tre gave him some sticks and he stagedove back into the audience. Green Day finished up their set and left. It was a kick ass performance from a kick ass band."
